The B+ Foundation

The Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation honors the life of Andrew McDonough. Andrew battled leukemia, septic shock and complications of childhood cancer for 167 days before passing away on July 14, 2007, at the age of 14. Andrew’s B+ blood type became his family’s and friends’ motto throughout his fight against childhood cancer — to “Be Positive”. The B+ Foundation is about Kids Helping Kids Fight Cancer — raising money to provide financial and emotional support to families of children with cancer nationwide. Center for Fraternity and Sorority Research (CFSR)

The CFSR for Fraternity and Sorority Research (CFSR) was founded in 1979 and is 501(c) (3) non-profit organization and an Indiana University Research Center. CFSR is an advocate for the inspiration, funding, vetting, and recognition of research related to the fraternity and sorority movement. As a non-for-profit organization, CFSR has given out over $25,000 in research grants and recognition awards over the past five years to promote research on fraternities and sororities. CFSR administers the Fraternity and Sorority Experience Survey (FSES) and provides benchmark data which enable chapters, councils, campuses, and school consortiums to measure the member experience and captures the perception of member’s fraternity and sorority members’ involvement.

The FSES is the first validated research project regarding the fraternity and sorority experience with more than 55,000 completed surveys since 2015. The FSES aggregate data offers new insights into the state of today’s fraternities and sororities and informs how to create conditions for the growth and development of chapters and communities. The FSES aggregate data produces measureable results to help fraternity/sorority professionals target their approaches in creating cultural change in their communities. Profits generated by the sales of the FSES, coupled with dues generated through Association of Fraternity and Sorority Advisors, keep survey costs low as well as pay for research grants and recognition awards.

Circle of Sisterhood Foundation

The Circle of Sisterhood is a U.S. charity founded and powered by sorority women to remove barriers to education for girls and women facing poverty and oppression around the world.
