During the 2024 NGLA Annual Conference, the Northeast Greek Leadership Association will recognize chapters, councils, communities, and individuals for their outstanding accomplishments in 2023. These organizations and individuals, through their programs, initiatives, and commitment to the fraternal movement, help to advance the mission of NGLA.

Campuses found in violation of the NGLA Code of Conduct in 2023 are not eligible to apply for 2024 NGLA Awards.

Applications closed Wednesday, January 17 @ 11:59pm ET. For your consideration, a summary of 2023 NGLA Awards is available to reference as you prepare your application for next year.

Amy Vojta Impact Awards

The Amy Vojta Impact Awards celebrate the accomplishments of our chapters, councils, and communities in seven areas. Named in honor of Amy Vojta, former Executive Director of NGLA, recipients of these awards have excelled in a certain area and have created a program or initiative that has had a positive impact.

Amy Vojta Impact Awards are given in the following categories:

  • Academic Achievement: recognizes a chapter, council, or community for programs and initiatives that foster scholastic achievement.

  • Civic Engagement: recognizes a chapter, council, or community for their positive and impactful work related to civic engagement. Those who receive this award are recognized for creative programming, events, and fundraising opportunities which allow their community members to truly make a difference.

  • Leadership Development: recognizes a chapter, council, or community for their positive and impactful work related to development and leadership. Those recognized have demonstrated the importance of a shared vision and a community which fosters everyone to obtain their highest leadership potential.

  • Membership Recruitment/Intake: recognizes a chapter, council, or community for continuing to progress the fraternal movement through recruitment and intake of new members. Those who receive this award are recognized in the area of management and growth for effectively utilizing their values throughout their recruitment and intake process and serve as an example to their peers.

  • Multicultural Initiatives/Programming: recognizes a chapter, council, or community for their positive and impactful work that celebrates the diverse nature of our campuses, organizations, and communities.

  • Public Relations: recognizes a chapter, council, or community that addresses the public image of Greek Life and continue to foster positive relationships between Greek Life and the campus and town communities.

  • Risk Reduction: recognizes a chapter, council, or community for programming focused on responsible decision making and holding one another accountable.

Only one application may be submitted per award, and incomplete or incorrect submissions will not be considered.


Josette Kaufman Award

This award honors the positive impact chapters, councils, and communities have done in the health and wellness areas including, but not limited to, women’s and men’s health issues, sexual assault, cyber-bullying, and/or mental health education and prevention.

Nominations are limited to three (3) letters of support per nominee.
