2019 NGLA Student Staff Conference Application

Each year, the NGLA Annual Conference is run with the support of a team of student volunteers. These volunteers include both undergraduate and graduate students. This experience is a great opportunity to learn about conference management, meet fellow fraternity & sorority members from across the northeast, and network with higher education and fraternal professionals. The Student Staff assists in conference preparation, registration, organization of meals and activities, and maintaining conference policies and procedures. Student Staff will also have the opportunity to engage with a NGLA board of directors member in a mentoring capacity before, during, and after the conference.

Students who are chosen for this honor are expected to arrive in Hartford, CT one day in advance of the conference (Wednesday, February 27, 2019) and will receive a free room and registration for the conference. Travel expenses are not included.

Interested students must complete the application, including a letter of reference from a fraternity or sorority advisor (for undergraduate students) or a supervisor (for graduate students).

Applications for the 2019 NGLA Student Staff are due by December 10, 2018. Phone interviews will be conducted the week of January 7, 2019. Student Staff will be notified by January 25, 2019.
